Had a private balcony with amazing water views. The apartment had a kitchenette, seating area, and dining area. Loved the satellite TV. Safety features were on point. Explored kayaking and sailing in the area. Beautiful natural beauty around. Laundry facilities and free parking were great. Had the whole apartment to myself. It's located in central Akaroa.
Water pressure in the bathroom shower was unbeatable. Who needs a refreshing shower anyway?

We stayed at the Akaroa Village Inn for one night and it was a great experience. The location of the property was perfect, allowing us to easily walk around and explore the area. The unit was well-equipped with everything we needed, including a coffee machine and pods. The balcony overlooking the wharf and waterfront was a lovely spot for enjoying meals and a glass of wine. The cleanliness of the unit and the comfortable beds were also notable. Additionally, my daughter loved the box of kids toys provided.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic time staying at this amazing apartment in a Central location. the balcony offered breathtaking views of the beach, and we enjoyed exploring the nearby shops and attractions. Walking around the area was a highlight for us, and we even discovered a delightful fish shop where we bought some delicious flounder. the apartment was spotless and had a lovely atmosphere. We were impressed with the clear instructions for accessing the property, which made our holiday start off on a positive note.
We all had a wonderful experience in Akaroa. Cons: Nothing at all!

This place has everything I need: Wi-Fi, free parking, flat-screen TV, and a fully equipped kitchen. The staff even helped me find my lost barrette. Can't wait to come back for Easter!

The apartment is centrally located, offering stunning views of the waterfront. It is spacious and comfortable, with clean and tidy amenities. the access instructions provided are clear and convenient. the apartment also provides off-street parking, removing any worries about finding a space. the balcony is a nice spot to relax and enjoy the view.
The apartment lacks an oven/cooktop and laundry facilities, but there are nearby alternatives available for these needs.

Wow what a spot right on the waters edge with a lovely balcony. Spotless and handy to shops and restaurants. Great instructions on how to access and just started our holiday on such a good note. the location is perfect. Fabulous views from the balcony over the wharf and harbour. the restaurants and bars are right next door and it was only a short walk to the village shops. the apartment is well equipped. We appreciated the little extras in the kitchen. salt, cooking oil, paper towels, teabags, coffee. thank you! !
The main bed could do with an upgrade - a bit of roll together. Bedroom curtains did not keep out enough light could do with blackout linings.

The location was perfect, offering fine views of the waterfront from the spacious balcony. The apartment itself was roomy and comfortable, with two cozy bedrooms and tasteful decorations. I particularly enjoyed sitting on the balcony, savoring a glass of wine while taking in the beautiful bay and being greeted by the local birds. Being so close to restaurants and shops was a definite plus, as we could easily explore the area and enjoy delicious meals. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the shower was great. The Giants House and the Children's Bay walk were also highlights of our stay. Despite a few drawbacks, such as the apartment lacking air conditioning , made it uncomfortably hot during the unusually warm weather, and the confusing name on the front of the hotel, the overall experience was fantastic. The helpfulness of the receptionist at the Akaroa Village Inn was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this apartment for a wonderful stay. I would definitely choose this accommodation again.
